Almost like NextGen’s answer to “Mega Fortune” by Netent, this is a game about wealth, luxury, and opulence. The design is inherently simple (which is by no means a negative) and the quality of the special features is good, if not astounding. More importantly, players can take home up to 200x their stake on a spin, and that’s without activating the 40 free spins!
So, is your interest piqued? Let’s crack on, and see what Millionaires Club: Diamond Edition has to offer!
Gameplay Overview & Symbols
Millionaires Club: Diamond Edition lets you feel like you’re living the high life. Well, if you believe you’re a cartoon, anyway. The symbols (shiny cars and expensive products) are so distant from most of our lives that we’re too intrigued to look away.
Anyway, back to an actual description. The slot has a 5×4 reel layout, with 40 paylines and a jazzy soundtrack that bounces along with your spins. Spins are relatively fast (there’s nothing worse than slow, meandering spins!) and since it’s a medium variance game, wins aren’t too irregular.
In terms of standard symbols, the mansion (compete with a pool) is the highest-paying, worth 300 coins for 5 on a line. The cruise liner and helicopter are worth 100, while the sports car and watch collection fetch a measly 30x. But this is where it gets interesting: the wild and scatter.
Wilds substitute for any normal symbol as usual (and are worth 800 coins for 5 on a payline) but also contribute to a special bonus round. Read about that below! As for the scatter, it’s the usual story: land 3+ to open up the bonus round and a bag-load of free spins!
So, here’s the deal. Every time a wild lands on the reels, you collect a little token off to the side:
- 15 wilds – Spin the silver wheel.
- 20 wilds – Spin the gold and silver wheels.
- 30 wilds – Spin the gold, silver, and platinum wheels!
The payout from this bonus is a multiplier of your stake – up to a whopping 200x! If you play with a high bet (maximum $100) and get a good result on all 3 spins, you could be looking at an astronomical payout.
Free Spins Round
Pretty simple: you get free spins for landing 3+ scatters during a single spin, plus a 2x multiplier on every win.
- 3 scatters – 10 spins
- 4 scatters – 15 spins
- 5 scatters – 20 spins
If you manage to land 3+ scatters again during the free spin round, you’ll get another batch of spins – that’s up to 40 free spins in total, with a 2x multiplier. You won’t get much better than that anywhere else!
While the design is pretty basic – and relatively uninspiring – it’s not a huge factor. What’s important about Millionaires Club: Diamond Edition is that it has the ability to pay out well, and relatively often. I would play this game again, but definitely with the intention of accessing the bonus round and making my money that way.
After a profitable bonus round, I’d maybe switch to something a bit more fun, or exciting. Good luck!
